32Red Casino Test

Honesty & Reputation

(20 out of 30)
32Red have got a great reputation within the online casino industry. However if this review had been written in 2014 then they would have scored as close to a 30 as possible. Unfortunately their customer service and payout speeds have gone downhill since then. These issues will be rated in the relevant sections here so we are not going to double punish them for these facts. But those issues and the fact that players are gradually becoming less satisfied means they cannot be considered a “30”.

We also cannot take CM awards into consideration due to the fact that 32Red seem to win everything every year there and once again won the casino of the year award this year despite the fact most CM members were unhappy with the downhill slide 32Red is on. It is very likely that the partnership between CM and 32Red has had a huge impact on their overall reputation within the industry due to a lot of lazy webmasters simply copying the CM ratings over the years. That being said, we are not going to punish them for this, however a pinch of salt and quadruple investigation has been taken place.

There have been very few official registered player complaints against 32Red however there are a number of affiliate complaints against the group as a whole.

Payout Speed

(7 out of 10)

Payment within 24 hours = 7 points
Customer Service

(7 out of 10)

5 points are on offer straight off the bat for having live help available.

2 additional points for customer support quality.

Bonus Terms

(10 out of 10)

5 points are up for grabs for casinos providing a cashable bonus.

Wagering = 40x bonus, Max bet 6.25.

We consider this to be a very fair deal considering the size of the bonus on offer.

Licenses

(10 out of 10)

10 points for a UK Gambling Commission license.

Also have a Gibraltar license.

Design & Usability

(5 out of 10)

We are not huge fans of the website layout and useability. Certainly not the worst we have seen but it could be far more user friendly.
Betting & Slot Options

(3 out of 10)

The fact that Bingo, Sports, Poker and Slots etc are all on different websites means we are only going to grade the slots casino in this review.

Betting types: Slots Casino

Slots: Microgaming, Rabcat

Loyalty schemes

(4 out of 10)

The loyalty program is weak for the low roller and is not a cash reward system, rather the rewards come with wagering requirements.
Total Score

(Max 100 points)

66% (Update: 32Red have been bought by another concern and we can no longer recommend them at all until they pull their act together)

Greg’s Verdict:

I have held an account at 32Red casino in the past and it used to be a very good place to play, however over the years they haven’t done anything to really move forwards and have simply been overtaken by the competition. They seem to be stuck in the noughties and that’s just not good enough for me. If you are only interested in playing Microgaming slots then this is still one of the better casinos to play at because it is one of the original and ground breaking Microgaming casinos so you know what you are getting. But its dated interface just doesn’t really do it for me anymore.

On the plus side despite being hosted on multiple websites, you only need to register at one. And each site (casino, bingo, sports) has it’s own bonus and no deposit bonus available.

Steve’s Verdict:

I have to agree with Greg on this one, the interface is outdated, and in terms of playability there are a number of better interfaces which are more in keeping with the modern internet. Yes if you like Microgaming slots (which many people do of course) then you can’t really go wrong here as 32red offer a good (not spectacular) bonus but that does come with wagering requirements. All in all not the worst place to play but there are certainly many better these days, hopefully they will get back to the drawing board and bring it into the teens instead of remaining stuck in the noughties.

Honesty & Reputation

(20 out of 30)

32Red do seem to have a very good reputation on the whole as a brand and very little in terms of complaints can be found about them. However there have been a few complaints made against the affiliate group.

Unfortunately recently their payout speeds and Customer Service also seems to have gone downhill. This coupled with their at best average player reward scheme means that 32Red can simply not score near the 30 point mark.

Poker Bonus Terms

(10 out of 10)

5 Points awarded for having a cashable welcome bonus.

A further 5 points awarded for a very generous sign up bonus of 100% up to 1000 and a very decent 30% instant rakeback offer

Licenses

10 points for a UK Gambling Commission license.
Design & Usability

(5 out of 10)

32Red Poker is on the Microgaming Poker Network, one of the less popular networks. Whilst there is both instant play and a downloadable client the software could definitely use some improvement in terms of being user friendly and its look.
Poker Games & Options
(4 out of 10)
Whilst there are tournaments, cash games and sit’n’gos available on 32Red the variety is not huge. There aren’t too many tournaments running, and sit’n’gos can sometimes take a little while to fill. Their customisation and other settings could also be improved on
Loyalty schemes

(8 out of 10)

Their rakeback scheme actually is decent offering players 30% every time they play. You get 30 points for every $1 spent playing poker and these can be converted to cash at the rate of 100 for $1. So cash can be earned fairly quickly here.

Stacey’s Verdict:

I have not actually played at 32Red Poker and the main reason for this is the software. It does not appeal to me at all and in comparison to other sites there are better poker platforms to play on. As far as game selection goes, there isn’t a whole lot to choose from for a tournament player and the guarantees for the tournaments that are available aren’t great either. They do have a really good bonus offer and rakeback scheme however, so if they improved the other areas it could definitely improve ratings wise.
